Quality Lab Analyst Location: Kirriemuir Pay Rate: £14.30 per hour Shift Pattern: Double day shifts Job Type: Full-time Overview Are you someone who takes pride in accuracy, enjoys hands‑on laboratory work, and wants to see the real impact of quality on production? This is a great opportunity to step into a key role within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment where quality, consistency and continuous improvement are genuinely valued. This role would suit someone who enjoys a mix of laboratory testing, problem‑solving and collaboration with production teams, and who wants to develop their experience within a structured quality environment. Key Responsibilities Carry out routine and specialised laboratory testing on yarn, loomstate, dyed and coated fabrics Ensure results meet internal and customer specifications, escalating issues where necessary Accurately record test results and maintain laboratory documentation for audit purposes Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability Raise and support non-conformances and corrective actions Work closely with production teams to provide real-time quality feedback Support ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 audits and continuous improvement activities Assist with new product trials and preparation of customer samples Follow all health, safety and environmental procedures within the laboratory Why this role could be right for you You'll play a meaningful role in maintaining and improving product quality Your testing and feedback will directly influence production processes You'll build experience working to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards You'll receive full training and ongoing support Stable double day shifts with a competitive hourly rate Experience & Skills Required Previous experience in a quality, laboratory or manufacturing environment (textiles preferred) Experience working within ISO 9001 and/or ISO 14001 standards Good understanding of manufacturing processes Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Clear communication skills and a proactive approach Awareness of 5S standards and good housekeeping practices What's on Offer Competitive pay rate of £14.30 per hour Structured double day shift pattern Immediate start with full training and support Opportunity to work in a quality-focused, hands-on role Valuable experience within a regulated manufacturing environment Apply Now If you are available to start soon and are looking for a quality-focused role where attention to detail really matters, we want to hear from you.
