Quality Manager 

Are you an experienced professional with a passion for ensuring excellence in electronics manufacturing? Orion is working with a market leader that is seeking a dedicated Quality Manager to lead their product quality initiatives at a dynamic contract electronics manufacturing company serving various industries.

About the Company  

Our client is a reputable contract electronic manufacturer specialising in delivering high-quality electronic assemblies and solutions across multiple sectors. Known for their commitment to excellence and continuous improvement, they operate within strict industry standards and hold certifications including ISO 9001 and AS9100, ensuring quality and reliability in every product they produce.

The role of Quality Manager

As Quality Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing the quality management system, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards. You will lead a small team of engineers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities of the Quality Manager:

Lead and develop the quality team to meet departmental and company goals 
Maintain and improve the ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality management systems 
Conduct internal audits and coordinate external audits 
 Investigate and resolve product quality issues and non-conformances 
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to implement quality improvements 
Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements  

 Requirements of the Quality Manager

Proven experience in a quality management role within electronic manufacturing or a similar industry 
Strong understanding of ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards 
Experience leading and developing small teams of engineers or quality professionals 
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills 
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality tools (e.g., FMEA, SPC, CAPA)
