My client is a long‑established, values‑driven food manufacturing business with over 50 years of industry expertise, where quality and consistency are at the heart of their operation.
Due to ongoing investment and expansion, this is an exciting opportunity for a technical professional to take a key leadership role within a respected and forward‑thinking manufacturer.
Reporting into the Technical Manager, the Quality Manager will take full responsibility for all technical and quality functions on site. You will ensure products meet all safety, legal, and quality requirements, oversee compliance with food safety legislation and accreditation standards (including BRC and ISO22000), manage the Quality Management System, and provide strong leadership across the Technical Department.
Main Responsibilities:
Ensure full compliance with food safety legislation and accreditation standards (BRC, ISO).
Maintain and continuously improve the Quality and Food Safety Management System.
Drive site-wide continuous improvement to strengthen operational and technical performance.
Manage non‑conformances, customer complaints, and corrective actions.
Support internal audits and maintain accurate technical documentation.
Oversee supplier approval, audits, and the approved supplier list.
Lead and develop the technical team alongside the Technical Manager.
Advise senior leadership on risks, regulatory changes, and technical issues.
Champion high standards in food safety, hygiene, labelling, and health & safety.
Help maintain the site's high accreditation status.What you'll bring?

Qualifications in Food Safety, HACCP, H&S & Internal Auditing
Confidence, leadership, collaboration and a continuous improvement mindset
