Quality Manager
Location: Northwich
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established food manufacturing business for an experienced Quality Manager to lead and develop their site quality function.
This is a key leadership role, responsible for managing the quality team and ensuring all products meet the highest standards of safety, legality, and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, manage, and develop the site Quality team
* Ensure compliance with all food safety, quality, and legal standards
* Maintain and improve the Quality Management System
* Act as the main point of contact for customer and third-party audits
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the site
* Work closely with production and technical teams to uphold standards
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Quality Manager within food manufacturing
* Strong experience working with own label products (essential)
* In-depth knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., BRCGS)
* Experience managing audits and customer relationships
* Strong leadership and communication skills
