Key Responsibilities:
As the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for leading quality assurance activities and ensuring compliance across the business. Duties will include:
Managing and developing the Quality Management System in line with AS9100 and NADCAP requirements
Ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies, customer requirements and industry standards
Leading internal and external audit programmes
Managing quality reporting, FAIRs, PEARs, KPI reporting and quality documentation
Supporting customers with all quality-related matters and contract reviews
Leading and developing the Quality Assurance and Inspection teams
Driving continuous improvement initiatives through root cause analysis and corrective actions
Producing reports and presentations for senior management
Working closely with customers, auditors and regulatory authorities
What we're looking for:
To be successful in this Quality Manager position, you'll need:
Proven experience as a Quality Manager within the Aerospace industry
Strong working knowledge of AS9100 and NADCAP standards
Experience managing customer quality requirements and relationships
Previous people management and team leadership experience
Internal and external audit leadership experience
Strong organisational and communication skills
Understanding of manufacturing and engineering processes
Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements
Continuous improvement and root cause analysis experience
The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamThis role would suit an ambitious quality professional looking to progress towards a Quality Director level position in the future while making a significant impact within a growing and successful organisation.
