Quality Manager – Precision Engineering
Location: Leicester
Salary: £43,000 to £45,000 per annum
Are you an experienced Quality Manager with a strong eye for precision and a commitment to excellence? We are seeking a highly motivated individual to lead our quality department and uphold our IATF 16949:2016 and ISO 9001:2015 accreditations. Join our team in Leicester and play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of quality control and assurance.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
* Thorough knowledge of IATF 16949:2016 and ISO 9001:2015 standards
* Proven ability to manage customer and supplier complaints effectively
* Extensive experience with PPAP, APQP, MSA, SPC, and FMEA processes
* Internal auditing experience is an advantage
* Skilled in global 8D problem-solving methodologies
* Strong Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
* Experience with new product introduction processes
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead quality control and assurance activities to ensure compliance with IATF 16949:2016 and ISO 9001:2015 standards
* Manage and resolve customer and supplier complaints to maintain excellent business relationships
* Oversee and support processes such as PPAP, APQP, MSA, SPC, and FMEA
* Conduct internal audits to verify adherence to quality standards
* Apply global 8D problem-solving techniques to address and resolve quality issues
* Use Excel to analyse data and prepare detailed quality reports
* Facilitate the introduction and approval of new products
