Brooksby Projects were founded in 1984 and are a well-established family business that manufacture highly specialist structural and architectural steel products for the construction market.
The majority of work Brooksby carry out is designing and manufacturing specialist balconies for high rise residential developments across the UK, working with leading architects, developers and contractors.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
* Responsible for leading the implementation of BPL’s quality plans, systems & procedures.
* Responsible for leading continuous improvement of BPL quality plans, systems & procedures.
* Responsible for training employees within on the importance of quality & compliance and filtering the processes throughout the team.
* Ensuring BPL’s company policies and procedures exceed the latest industry standards.
* Responsible for developing a continuous improvement mindset across the company in relation to quality & H&S.
* Leading the Non-Conformance process throughout the company and subsequent investigations.
* Ensuring company records are obtained, correct, and filed in a systematic manner including creation of any necessary reports.
* Playing a key role in ongoing compliance & certification.
* Driving a right first-time culture within the company in respect to Quality / Health & Safety
* Ability to lead the quality & Health and Safety processes, and effectively communicating with interacting departments in a productive, professional & pleasant manner.
* Ownership of Quality, Health and Safety, and Environmental and implementation of relevant processes for the overall benefit of the company and its goals.
* Take timely actions to ensure compliance, in areas of health and safety, environmental and quality.
* Responsible for carrying out QC inspections on product
* Responsible for H&S in the all the companies’ factories and facilities.
* Report to and liaise with the rest of the senior management team and make decisions based on the guidance received by them.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
* Good Communicator.
* Excellent IT skills – Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, SharePoint.
* Professional & strong work ethic.
* Reliable.
* Motivated to lead the quality/ Health and Safety process.
Qualifications (advantageous but not essential):
* ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and/or ISO 45001 formal training.
* Internal Auditor Training (or relevant experience).
* Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent Continuous Improvement experience.
