Position Overview
This ia a senior leadership role responsible for managing and enhancing our ISO 9001 (Quality Management) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) systems. You will work closely with the Senior Management Team, particularly the General Manager, Production Manager, and CP Designer / Sales Support Manager, ensuring that quality standards are upheld and improved throughout all stages of production.
The role may also include occasional client visits within the UK and overseas.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and maintain compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 systems.
Embed quality procedures into daily manufacturing operations.
Monitor and evaluate quality performance, identify trends, and implement corrective actions.
Control and distribute company quality documentation.
Coordinate and monitor project-specific quality activities.
Manage internal audits, supplier quality assessments, and external certification processes.
Ensure contractor and vendor quality requirements are specified and met.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
Maintain accurate records to support traceability and compliance.
Monitor and resolve all non-conformance reports.
Investigate, manage, and close customer complaints related to quality.
Provide training, mentoring, and support to promote a quality-first culture.Candidate Requirements
Essential:
Minimum 4 years' experience as a Quality Manager.
Proven track record in a manufacturing environment.
Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
Excellent communication, leadership, lean techniques, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively across departments and influence at all levels.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and practical approach to quality management.What We Offer
Competitive salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (DOE)
Monday - Thursday: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm & Friday: 8:00 am - 12:45 pm
