Quality Manager
* Seeking an experienced Quality professional within the electronics / PCB industry to help drive quality processes within an established, growing manufacturer.
* Responsible for the management of quality processes as opposed to managing a team.

Excellent opportunity to become a Quality Manager within a growing PCB manufacturer who have a fantastic company culture - most of the team have been there for over 10 years. As they continue to grow, the company have now created a new position for a Quality Manager to help drive quality processes within the business.
As Quality Manager will oversee, enhance, and uphold quality assurance across all PCBA assembly processes from first off checks through final inspection and delivery. You will ensure that quality is not just a target, but the standard. Salary & Package: £50,000 to £65,000 per annum depending on experience. 25 days holiday + banks. Healthcare.
The Quality Manager Responsibilities:
* Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and IPC Class 3 with focus on implementing AS9100 and becoming JOSCAR registered in years to come.
* Lead and coordinate quality assurance across the assembly production lifecycle, from the SMT line, through 3D AOI to conventional inspection to final test and inspection.
* Oversee inspection checkpoints (e.g., visual, continuity, functional testing) and guarantee consistency in quality standards.
* Hands on inspection and PCBA rework when needed.
* Implement regular audits, identify process improvements, and facilitate corrective/preventive actions to reduce defects and non-conformities.
* Collaborate with engineering and production teams to embed quality principles into design, tooling, and prototyping processes.
* Collect, analyse, and report quality metrics (e.g., defect rates, scrap levels, audit results); present findings to senior leadership.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., lean, Six Sigma, root cause analysis) to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
* Ensure documentation (control plans, quality procedures, inspection records) is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
* Drive a culture of quality awareness across the organisation; provide training and coaching to staff on quality standards and best practices.
The Quality Manager Requirements:
* Proven experience in a quality management or assurance role within the electronics manufacturing or PCB industry.
* Proficiency with quality tools like root cause analysis, corrective-preventive action implementation, FMEA, or SPC.
* Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and other relevant quality standards.
* Experience leading audits, maintaining certifications, and driving compliance
* Strong communication and leadership skills
