Your Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the quality management system while implementing and maintaining food safety standards in accordance with IFS, BRC, and retailer codes of practice.
* Developing systems and processes to ensure quality and food safety in the production facility, while effectively implementing programs related to hygiene, pest control, allergens, and foreign bodies
* Maintain high factory standards through rigorous auditing and compliance with food safety, quality, and legal requirements
* Oversee the site HACCP, assessing risks and defining controls for new processes, products, or raw materials
* Handle customer complaints, analyse their causes, and determine solutions
* Conduct and host technical audits
* Address and close out non-conformance reports from audits, identifying areas for improvement
* Communicate effectively on all technical matters with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to build strong relationships
* Inspire and motivate the technical team, promoting personal development and continuous improvement
* Develop and implement KPIs to measure, trend, and identify issues
* Support the delivery and launch of new and existing product development, leveraging technical expertise to meet expected standards and define quality requirements for current and new products
* Drive a Quality Assurance culture within the business, providing practical support and guidance
* Coordinating work in the Quality Control Department
* Oversee quality control, ensuring that laboratory tests of products, raw materials, and the production environment are conducted according to requirements
Our Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in quality management within food manufacturing or retail.
* Degree in Food Technology, Biotechnology, Quality Management, or Chemistry.
* Strong knowledge of food production, quality systems, HACCP, BRC, IFS, and food law.
* Proven leadership and people management skills.
* Experience working with customers and regulatory bodies.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and fluent in Polish and English.
* Independent, responsible, and confident in decision-making.
Desirable:
* Knowledge of bakery production, health & safety standards, and pest control.
