Job Description
We are seeking a Quality Engineer to support the engineering team across the UK.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in quality, an engineering mindset, and an inquisitive nature – whether you’re experienced in quality engineering already or looking to step up into this area.
As a Quality Engineer the main responsibilities will include;
* Act as a point of contact for quality issues, supporting and guiding project teams.
* Lead or assist with audits and inspections in line with ISO 9001:2015.
* Review and analyse data to identify areas for improvement.
* Help produce and maintain project quality documentation and reports.
* Support compliance with Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
* Work with suppliers and subcontractors to maintain quality standards.
* Promote positive collaboration and continuous improvement across sites.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
* Naturally inquisitive, with an eye for detail and problem-solving.
* Organised, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
* A good communicator who enjoys engaging with different teams.
Desirable (not essential):
* BTEC/HNC or equivalent in engineering.
* Experience in quality or engineering (rail/construction preferred but not required).
* Knowledge of ISO 9001, Integrated Management Systems (IMS), and root cause analysis techniques.
* Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
