Job Description
Our client is a well-established precision engineering company with over 40 years of experience, operating to AS9100 standards. Specialising in high-quality CNC machined components for the aerospace sector.
As they continue to grow, they are seeking a dedicated and experienced Stores Operative – Quality to join the fast-paced and friendly Quality & Inspection Team.
Role Overview
In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining the high-quality standards of our products. You will be responsible for inspecting components, supporting quality documentation, and ensuring that non-conformances are properly addressed.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform visual and dimensional inspections of CNC machined components using various inspection methods.
* Interpret and work from customer technical drawings and specifications.
* Assist in the preparation of inspection reports and documentation.
* Investigate non-conformances and rejected parts in collaboration with the quality team.
* Liaise with multiple departments to support the inspection and release process.
* Ensure all work complies with AS9100 quality standards.
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in a quality inspection role within the aerospace or precision engineering sector.
* Strong understanding of AS9100 or similar quality management systems.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
* Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
* Professional attitude with strong communication and work ethics.
