Quality Technician, £28,000 - £32,000, Abingdon, Oxfordshire
• £28,000 - £32,000 depending on experience + pension + 25 days holiday
• Full-time, permanent position
• Quality-focused role within a growing medical device manufacturing company operating to ISO 13485
Are you a detail-driven Quality Technician or Inspector with experience in a regulated manufacturing environment? Do you enjoy ensuring products meet strict quality and compliance standards in a precision-led industry?
Your background as a Quality Technician:
• Experience in a quality or inspection role within a regulated manufacturing environment (medical devices, electronics or similar).
• Understanding of Quality Management Systems (ISO 13485 advantageous) and working to controlled procedures.
• Confident using calibrated measuring equipment and reviewing batch/production records for accuracy and traceability.
• Methodical, detail-focused and proactive, with strong communication skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
Quality Technician responsibilities:
• Maintain and support the ISO 13485 Quality Management System and regulatory compliance activities.
• Perform incoming, in-process and final inspections, ensuring accurate data recording and full traceability.
• Manage nonconformances, supporting containment actions, root cause investigations and CAPA processes.
• Assist with audits, document control, calibration tracking and quality performance reporting.
