With competitive salaries, structured training plans, and clear paths for progression, this is your chance to thrive in a business that values innovation, quality, and continuous improvement. ‍ As a Quality Technologist, you will be responsible for (but not limited to): * Representing Quality in daily operational meetings and reviewing daily Quality data. * Completing daily reports with accurate, factual information. * Managing incidents and performing swift risk assessments on quality and food safety issues. * Maintaining an up-to-date hold log and conducting timely mass balance checks. * Driving improvements in Food Safety and Quality Systems. * Taking an active role in internal audits, traceability exercises, and GFSI/third-party audits. * Supporting continuous improvement initiatives, including 3/5 and 8-step processes. * Managing and owning Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA). * Carrying out quality sign-offs and participating in site trials. * Developing and ensuring Food Safety Work Permits are in place and properly completed. * Conducting GMP audits and Gemba walks as scheduled. * Working cross-functionally to embed Quality Assurance across the site. * Supporting HACCP maintenance and assisting the HACCP Team Leader. * Managing customer queries and addressing audit findings and CAPAs. * Promoting and enhancing Quality Culture across the site. ‍ ‍What's required? To be successful in this role, you’ll bring: * Solid knowledge of Food Safety and Quality Systems, including HACCP and Root Cause Analysis. * Internal auditing experience. * The ability to communicate best practices across all levels of the business. * Strong influencing skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities. * A proactive approach and a desire to drive change. * Excellent organisational, planning, and decision-making skills. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio). * Desirable: experience with SharePoint, Redzone, and/or SAP. * Advantageous: knowledge of cane sugar processing. * A relevant degree (e.g. Food Science or related discipline) or equivalent experience. ‍ ‍What's in it for you? £35,000.00 - £37,000.00 per annum ‍ ‍Do you think you fit the criteria? ‍Want to find out more about the role?
