Job Description
Our client, a leading UK infrastructure specialist, is currently seeking x2 Quantity Surveyors to join their commercial team based in Coventry. This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of major schemes and make a tangible impact on high-value civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing the commercial aspects of multi-million-pound civil engineering and infrastructure projects
Handling valuations, contractual change, compensation events, and cost control
Working closely with Commercial Managers and clients in a client-facing role
Navigating NEC contracts (Options A & B) and managing amendments and compensation events
Making informed commercial decisions to respond to challenges quickly and confidently
Job Requirements:
Experience in civil engineering or infrastructure, preferably with main contractor experience (NEC)
Experience working with specialist subcontractors
Post-degree experience in managing multiple live schemes
Ability to manage your own workload and projects with autonomy and accountability
Strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify and get changes paid
Confidence in dealing with clients, resolving issues, and communicating at all levels
Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Law, or a similar discipline
