About the Role
Based in Rickmansworth, our client delivers a range of commercial projects across London and the South East. As a Quantity Surveyor in this team, you'll take ownership of key packages from pre-construction through to final account. You’ll work closely with both main contractors and end clients, acting as the commercial link between site teams, suppliers, and the wider project strategy.
Key Responsibilities
*
Managing costs, contracts, and variations across commercial fit-out and new build projects
*
Preparing and reviewing tender documentation and subcontractor packages
*
Site visits and progress reviews with commercial and delivery teams
*
Subcontractor negotiations, valuations, and payment processing
*
Producing financial reports, forecasts, and risk assessments
*
Supporting procurement strategies and value engineering processes
What You’ll Bring
*
3+ years’ Quantity Surveying experience, ideally within the commercial sector
*
Experience working for a subcontractor or in a consultancy with on-site delivery exposure
*
Sound knowledge of contract forms (JCT/NEC) and cost management tools
*
A proactive, detail-driven approach with strong communication skills
*
Degree-qualified or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
