A specialist construction contractor delivering large‑scale data centre projects across Europe is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team on projects based in Germany.

The business operates as a specialist M&E contractor on technically complex, mission‑critical facilities and is expanding its commercial team to support a strong and growing pipeline of data centre work.

This role sits below Senior Quantity Surveyor level but offers meaningful responsibility and long‑term progression within the data centre sector.

The Role

As Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial management of M&E packages on live data centre projects, working closely with Senior QSs, Project Managers and site teams.

You’ll be involved across the full commercial lifecycle, from procurement and cost control through to valuations, variations and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  * Day‑to‑day commercial management of M&E works

  * Cost tracking, reporting and forecast updates

  * Assisting with valuations, variations and change control

  * Supporting subcontractor procurement and commercial administration

  * Maintaining accurate commercial records and cost data

  * Providing commercial support to project and site teams

About You

You will be an established Quantity Surveyor with experience in construction, ideally with exposure to M&E or building services, looking to further develop your career on technically complex projects.

Essential

  * Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor on live construction projects

  * Good commercial and cost‑control awareness

  * Strong attention to detail and ability to work with project teams

  * Willingness to work on projects based in Germany

Desirable

  * M&E or building services experience

  * Exposure to data centres or mission‑critical environments

  * Experience working for a specialist subcontractor or main contractor
