The Opportunity
We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor / Cost Consultant to join thier Ringwood office.
This role is ideal for someone looking to develop their career within a construction consultancy environment, gaining hands-on experience across cost planning, project delivery, and client management.
You will work alongside senior professionals while also taking ownership of projects aligned with your experience level.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation of cost plans, estimates, and budget reports
* Production of tender documentation and procurement management
* Delivery of contract administration (JCT/NEC) and cost control
* Preparation of valuations, variations, and final accounts
* Acting as a client-facing point of contact
* Risk management, value engineering, and cost reporting
* Supporting overall project delivery and commercial management
Requirements
* Experience as a Quantity Surveyor / Assistant Quantity Surveyor / Cost Consultant
* Background in consultancy or main contractor environment
* Knowledge of construction contracts (JCT, NEC)
* Understanding of cost management and commercial processes
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to manage workload independently
* Working towards RICS / MRICS (desirable but not essential)
