Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager looking for a new challenge?

Approach Personnel are partnered with an industry leading Construction business who are looking for a talented and motivated Quantity Surveyor, to join their Notttingham based business. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will lead the delivery of construction projects, support junior members and act as the key client contact. What we are looking for:
* A degree level in Quantity Surveying, Construction Cost Management or a similar field.
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in running your own projects, Quantity Surveying / Project Management for either a Construction Company, Private Practice or related businesses.
* Ideally, a member of the RICS, or a commitment to achieve the creditation within a few years of starting the business.
* Skilled negotiator
Key Responsibilities:
* Taking the lead on a range of construction projects and supervising the the work of the assistants and apprentices in your team , and help them fulfill their potential.
* Take the lead as the main point of contact with the project client and other consultants from the design team.
* Working independently and taking responsibility for the successful delivery of all projects that you work on.
* Managing multiple projects simultaneously and developing excellent time management strategies.
* Actively looking to take on additional responsibility and able to stand in for the Associate or Senior QS when they are unavailable.
