Quantity Surveyor – Electrical & Mechanical Installations

Sheffield | Full-time | £60k-£65k + company vehicle + benefits

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a background in M&E contracting? Join a respected Sheffield-based electrical and mechanical contractor delivering high-quality projects across commercial, industrial, and residential sectors.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for managing project costs and contracts from start to finish — ensuring financial accuracy, maximising profitability, and maintaining excellent relationships with clients and subcontractors.

What You’ll Do

  * Prepare and manage client and subcontractor applications, valuations, and variations

  * Oversee cost control, forecasting, and monthly reports (CTCs)

  * Manage procurement, contracts, and commercial documentation

  * Liaise closely with Project Managers and the operations team

  * Ensure compliance with company, client, and H&S standards

What You’ll Bring

  * Degree qualified and/or RICS-approved Quantity Surveying qualification

  * Minimum 3 years’ experience in a commercial or QS role

  * Strong understanding of M&E contracts and project cost management

  * Excellent communication, organisation, and IT skills

  * Full UK driving licence
