Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join one of Fawkes & Reece’s prestige clients on a permanent basis in the Bristol area. This Quantity Surveyor role offers the chance to work on high-quality residential developments, with clear career progression and long-term stability. About the role of Quantity Surveyor As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be commercially responsible for residential projects from procurement through to final account. You will be working within an experienced commercial team on a range of housing developments, contributing to the successful financial delivery of projects. Responsibilities for Quantity Surveyor • Managing project costs from inception through to completion • Procurement of subcontractors and preparation of contract documentation • Valuations, variations, and final accounts management • Monitoring budgets, forecasts, and reporting on project performance Requirements for Quantity Surveyor • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within residential construction • Strong commercial awareness and cost management skills • Relevant qualification (HNC/HND/Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar) • Good knowledge of JCT contracts and procurement processes Our client is a well-established residential developer with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality housing schemes across the South West.
