A well-established civil engineering and groundworks contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support a strong pipeline of secured work across South Wales.
This is a permanent role within a profitable, privately owned business delivering infrastructure, roads & sewers (S278 / S38), bulk earthworks and groundworks packages for residential and commercial developments.
The Role
* Full commercial responsibility for multiple projects
* Subcontract procurement and management
* Interim valuations and applications for payment
* Cost reporting and forecasting
* Variations and change control
* Final accounts
* Liaising with site teams and clients
Requirements
* Proven Quantity Surveyor experience within civils or groundworks
* Strong knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts
* Experience managing projects from start to final account
* Commercially astute and confident managing costs independently
