About the Role We are seeking a motivated and commercially aware Surveyor to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of defined project packages, working across a range of systems including dry lining and façades. You will play a key role in the day-to-day commercial management of projects, ensuring cost control, accurate reporting, and strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities ● Manage project costs, budgets, and commercial performance ● Prepare and submit Applications for Payment ● Assess and price variations independently (with support where required) ● Monitor labour and project budgets to ensure profitability ● Administer and review contracts ● Manage subcontractor packages effectively ● Attend and lead project meetings with clients and stakeholders ● Identify and mitigate commercial risks ● Build and maintain strong client relationships
What We're Looking For ● Minimum 2 years' experience in a surveying or similar commercial role ● Strong understanding of construction processes (dry lining, SFS, façade systems preferred) ● Confident decision-making and ability to manage packages independently ● Excellent communication and negotiation skills ● Good contractual awareness ● Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools ● Ambition to develop professionally (HNC/Degree progression supported)
