Quantity Surveyor and Senior Quantity Surveyor

Milton Keynes

A specialist construction consultancy in Milton Keynes is recruiting for both an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor and a Senior Quantity Surveyor. The business provides commercial support to main contractors across sectors, including defence and secure estate projects. Typical work includes refurbishment, fit out, exterior works and security upgrade packages within prisons, MOD sites, MOJ buildings and other controlled access government facilities.

The team operates on the contractor side and has around 30 Quantity Surveyors working from modern open-plan offices. The consultancy has recently merged with a major international group, offering long-term stability, global expertise and strong progression opportunities.

The Role

Working on refurbishment, fit out, exterior works and security upgrade packages across defence and secure estate environments. The role is office-based in Milton Keynes with regular site visits. Responsibilities include cost management, valuations, variations, reporting, procurement support and general commercial duties across live schemes.

High-level security clearance is required and will be arranged upon joining.

The Right Person

Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor environment.
HNC or above in a construction-related discipline.
Enjoys working across refurbishment, fit-out and secure estate projects.
Looking for long-term development with full support to become chartered.
