Quantity Surveyor
Salary: £33,000 – £55,000 per year (depending on experience)
We are looking for a motivated Quantity Surveyor to join a well established business in the Glasgow area and support the successful delivery of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities-
Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports
Monitor project costs and manage cost control
Review tenders and negotiate supplier/subcontractor contracts
Carry out site visits to assess progress and verify works
Work closely with project managers, clients, and contractors
Identify cost risks and support project decision-making
Maintain accurate financial records and forecasts
Requirements-
Minimum HND in Quantity Surveying
At least 2 years’ experience with a main contractor or subcontractor
Strong knowledge of construction cost management
Experience with CostX, Bluebeam, or similar software preferred
Full UK driving licence required
Joinery or shopfitting experience beneficial but not essential
RICS accreditation advantageous but not essential
