£50,000 - £65,000 DOE + Car Allowance

Sphere Solutions are working with a well-established and growing regional contractor to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team based in Plymouth.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a varied portfolio of commercial refurbishment projects, primarily across Plymouth with occasional projects extending from Exeter to Land's End. Project values range from £50,000 to £6 million, offering plenty of variety and responsibility.

The Role

  * Manage the commercial and financial aspects of multiple refurbishment projects.

  * Prepare cost plans, valuations, variations, and final accounts.

  * Procure and manage subcontractor packages.

  * Monitor project costs, forecasts, and cash flow.

  * Work closely with site and project teams to ensure successful project delivery.

  * Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

About You

  * Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.

  * Commercial refurbishment experience is desirable.

  * Strong knowledge of cost management and contract administration.

  * Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

  * Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  * Full UK driving licence.
