Job Description

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for your next opportunity with a well-established contractor?

Versa Consulting is currently working with a number of respected construction businesses across Bristol and the South West who are looking to strengthen their commercial teams. We have opportunities with leading contractors operating across commercial, education, healthcare, industrial, refurbishment, interiors and fit-out projects.

Whether you're looking for a business with excellent career progression, a varied project portfolio or a supportive commercial team, we'd be keen to speak with you.

The Role

  * Managing project costs from procurement through to final account.

  * Preparing and reviewing subcontract packages.

  * Valuations, variations and cost reporting.

  * Producing monthly CVRs and commercial reports.

  * Managing subcontractor accounts and payments.

  * Working closely with Project Managers and site teams.

  * Identifying and managing commercial risks.

  * Building strong relationships with clients and supply chain partners.

Requirements

  * Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.

  * Experience with a main contractor or specialist contractor.

  * Strong knowledge of JCT contracts (NEC experience advantageous).

  * Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills.

  * Degree qualified or equivalent (preferred but not essential).

  * Full UK driving licence.
