Quantity Surveyor
Location: East Kent with sites in London & South East
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 DOE
THE OPPORTUNITY
CPXR is recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join a growing, award-winning Design & Build contractor based in East Kent.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor with Commercial Fit-Out and Design & Build experience looking to join a successful business delivering high-quality workplace, hospitality and retail projects across London and the South East.
The role will involve managing the commercial aspects of multiple projects from pre-construction through to final account, working closely with the Commercial Manager, Project Managers and clients.
THE ROLE
* Manage projects from tender through to final account
* Prepare valuations, variations and monthly CVRs
* Procure subcontractors and suppliers
* Monitor project budgets, costs and cashflow
* Negotiate subcontractor packages and final accounts
* Work closely with Project Managers and clients throughout project delivery
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
* Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor
* Essential Commercial Fit-Out and Design & Build experience
* Experience managing projects from procurement through to final account
* Strong understanding of valuations, variations, CVRs and cost reporting
* Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills
* Full UK driving licence
The successful candidate will be confident managing multiple projects simultaneously and building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal teams.
