Job Description
Waites Recruitment Consultancy Ltd are working with a fantastic client based in Leeds who are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor on a Full time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor who is wanting to develop and grown. With fantastic growth opportunities and training scheduled.

They are a family-owned business, with our most senior director boasting over 50 years of experience in the industry.
My clients is currently looking for a proactive, autonomous, and experienced Quantity Surveyor to be based in our head office in Seacroft, Leeds. My Clients current projects range from groundworks, S278 & infrastructure work, roads and sewers, and reinforced concrete work. They have a proven track record of producing quality, whilst adhering to the time frames of our clients.
Due to continued growth and the securing of new projects, theyare now in a position to add to our successful commercial team.
Role Overview:
* Management of the commercial aspect for your dedicated sites across Yorkshire
* Production of monthly cost & value forecasts
* Preparation, submission, and agreement of monthly applications for payment
* Ensure cost control is maintained
* Measure and value works carried out on site with absolute perfection and detail
* Procurement, assessment, certification, and reconciliation of sub-contractor applications
* Track changes to design and capture variations
* Review progress against programme
* Cost value reconciliation on schemes
* Assist in the tendering process
* Provide contract support to Contracts and Site Managers
Role Requirements:
* A background in Civil Engineering/Groundworks
* Strong communication both written and verbal
* Develop client relationships across projects
* At least 5 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor within Civils
* NEC experience
Personal Requirements:
* Motivated and self-sufficient
* A keen eye for detail
* Punctual and good time keeping
* Willing to assist with members of your team
Package:
* £50-£60k per annum (based on experience)
* 23 days holiday (increasing by 1 day per year of service)
