Are you a skilled Quantity Surveyor looking to join a dynamic and growing team? My client is seeking an experienced and proactive Quantity Surveyor to support their Construction and Facilities Management (FM) divisions across the Bristol region and surrounding areas.
Role Overview:
As a key part of their commercial team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our projects are delivered on time and within budget. You’ll be responsible for collating and tracking project costs, managing budgets, analysing financial data, and producing detailed reports. Site visits and collaboration with project teams and internal stakeholders will be a regular part of your role to ensure financial control throughout each project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:

Collate and manage costs across construction and FM projects
*
Monitor and control project budgets and expenditures
*
Analyse costs, prepare financial forecasts and detailed reports
*
Conduct regular site visits to ensure project alignment with financial plans
*
Liaise with project managers, clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders
*
Support procurement and contract administration tasks
What Their Looking For:
*
Proven experience in a Quantity Surveyor role (construction and/or FM experience preferred)
*
Strong technical knowledge of cost planning and budget control
*
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for internal collaboration
*
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
*
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Requirements:
*
Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
*
Membership of RICS (or working towards it) desirable
*
Full UK driving licence (due to site visits in surrounding areas)
