Job Description
Our client, a leading specialist electrical contractor in the construction and data centre sectors, is seeking an ambitious Quantity Surveyor to join their team for a major project in Finland. This permanent role offers the opportunity to become an integral part of the commercial team operating in Ireland, the UK, and mainland Europe.
Eligibility: Please note that, due to the nature of the role, any successful applicant would need to have an EU passport or permanent residency in Finland.
Key Responsibilities:
Assume commercial responsibility for a major project, liaising with internal and external stakeholders
Produce detailed BOQ, labour hours, and material cost estimates from plans
Coordinate with site teams to track work efficiencies, S/E, and reporting
Provide project costing, margin, and cashflow reports
Manage project scope variations
Develop and maintain client relationships to support operations and maintain positive relations
Assist with the review of all tender documentation including drawings and specifications
Conduct site visits to determine tender requirements as needed
Identify areas for improvement, expansion, and contribute to company strategy and procedures
Job Requirements:
Related qualification in Quantity Surveying
Experience in the construction or data centre sectors
Electrical services background is preferable
Good commercial awareness
Proven track record in customer relationship development
