About The Company:
I'm working with a well-established civil engineering contractor based in Yorkshire, who deliver projects across the commercial, residential, and infrastructure sectors. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team and work on a range of projects across Yorkshire and the wider areas, valued up to £10m.
The Role:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing costs, contracts, and financial reporting on a variety of construction and civil engineering projects. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Preparing cost estimates, budgets, and valuations
✔ Managing subcontractor procurement and payments
✔ Conducting risk assessments and value engineering
✔ Monitoring project costs and ensuring profitability
✔ Negotiating contracts and managing variations
✔ Preparing and submitting final accounts
✔ Collaborating with project managers and site teams
Requirements:
🔹 Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field (preferred)
🔹 Experience in civil engineering projects
🔹 Experience of working on JCT/NEC contracts (preferred)
🔹 Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
