Job Title: Quantity Surveyor (Retail Focus)
Salary: £45,000 – £65,000 per annum
Location: Bristol

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in retail construction to join our dynamic team. Working within a fast-paced retail environment, you will be responsible for managing the financial and contractual aspects of multiple retail fit-out and refurbishment projects across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for retail construction projects
*
Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to ensure project efficiency and profitability
*
Manage and track project expenditures, valuations, and variations
*
Liaise with clients, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project alignment and compliance
*
Monitor commercial performance, identify risks, and propose mitigation strategies
*
Support procurement processes and negotiate contracts
*
Ensure timely and accurate reporting to senior management
Requirements:
*
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field
*
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within retail construction
*
Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial management
*
Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
*
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
