Job Description
Quantity Surveyor – South Devon
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic and growing construction firm based in Devon. This company is known for its collaborative, professional, and people-first approach to delivering high-quality commercial projects across the South West.

As Quantity Surveyor, you’ll take the lead on project costing and commercial management across a range of developments – from initial feasibility to final accounts. You'll work closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure successful financial outcomes while helping shape the future growth of the business.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and manage cost plans, estimates, and budgets
Handle tender processes and contract negotiations
Administer contracts and manage subcontractor payments
Monitor project variations, risk, and financial reporting
Liaise with clients, consultants, and site teams to ensure commercial alignment
Applicants should possess:
Experience within a main contractor
Ideally qualified to degree or HNC level in Construction or Quantity Surveying or working towards
Confident communication and negotiation skills
Fully IT literate and numeric
Keen to continue professional development and career progression
Relevant driving licence
