£55,000 + Package
Permanent Role | Fit-Out Specialist Contractor
Hill McGlynn, experts in construction and property recruitment, are proud to be working in partnership with a leading fit-out construction company, currently seeking a driven and commercially minded Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Canterbury.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a growing business renowned for delivering high-quality interior fit-out projects across the commercial, retail, and leisure sectors.
The Role:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in the commercial management of fast-paced fit-out projects, working closely with project teams and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparation and management of project budgets and cost plans
* Procurement of subcontractors and supplier packages
* Preparation of valuations, variations, and final accounts
* Commercial reporting and forecasting
* Negotiating and managing contractual matters
* Supporting project teams with commercial and financial guidance
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry, ideally with fit-out project experience
* Strong knowledge of commercial processes and contract management
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
