Job Description
Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Location: North Dublin / County Dublin
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: €45,000 - €75,000 (depending on experience)
Overview:
We are currently hiring a motivated and experienced Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial and contractual management of building projects from tender stage through to final account. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic construction team delivering high-quality projects across Dublin.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Contract Stage:
Review tender documentation and project details
Assist in setting commercial targets
Contract Period:
Procure subcontractors and prepare relevant documentation
Attend pre-award and progress meetings
Manage applications for payment, variations, and accounts
Handle contractual correspondence and maintain internal reporting
Work closely with site teams to ensure cost control and budget adherence
Post-Contract:
Finalise subcontractor accounts
Organise project close-out documentation
Requirements:
Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
Minimum of 3 years' experience with a building contractor
Strong commercial and contractual awareness
Proficient in IT systems related to quantity surveying
Highly organised, self-motivated, and capable of working independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
