Job Description

First Task Professional is working with a well-established joinery sub-contractor to source a Quantity Surveyor for their business in Glasgow. This company turnover c. £17m and works with the majority Tier 1 contractors to deliver internal partitions, drylining and joinery packages up to the value of £4m. Working closely with the Commercial Director your responsibilities will include: * Conduct detailed quantity take-offs * Pricing various work packages based on project drawings and specifications * Material procurement * Pricing and management of variations * Preparing and submitting monthly valuations * Attending progress meetings * Negotiating final accounts.
