We are currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a respected main contractor on a contract basis for an exciting residential development in Harrow.
This is a 3-month contract opportunity, ideal for a skilled QS with a strong background in social housing or similar residential schemes. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring cost-effective delivery and financial management of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing all costs relating to the residential development project
* Overseeing procurement and contract administration
* Preparing valuations, payments, and final accounts
* Liaising with site teams, subcontractors, and the client to ensure smooth project progress
Requirements:
* Proven experience working on social housing or residential schemes
* Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Ability to work independently and manage workload on a busy site
Additional Information:
* Site-based role: 5 days a week in Harrow
* Immediate start preferred
* Competitive daily rate offered
