MS599 - Quantity Surveyor
Salary: £55,000 per annum
Location: Norwich
Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor on behalf of one of our clients, to join their Highways team.
This will be working on a new highways project in locations around the South / East of the country.
Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage Subcontractors dealing with certification of payment and change.
Manage allocated control accounts with site team including value draw and out-turn forecast / spend profiling.
Keep cost records and agreement of costs with National Highway Site Representatives.
Utilise site commercial and document systems (Oracle, CEMAR, Projectwise, Forecasting Tool).
Procure packages as the work proceeds.
Provide and present contract, cost and forecasting data to the site team.
Skills and Qualifications:
NEC contract knowledge.
Experience working within infrastructure / civils.
Previous experience of managing subcontractors and preliminaries.
Knowledge of commercial digital systems.
Good communication skills
