Job Description
A position has become available for a Experienced Quatity Surveyor to work for a Civils Contractor based in Aldermaston.
The Contractor operates as a subcontractor to Main Contractors within the Water Sector and Housing sector.
Due to an increase in workload a Quantity Surveyor is required to join the team, please note this role can be office based or work from home.
Responsibilities
* Measurement and valuations of works for applications, variations and final accounts with both clients and suppliers.
* Ensure all contracts in supply chain are fit for purpose
* Cash Flow Forecasts
* Preparing Tenders
* Managing the dispute and defects process with the Client and Subcontractors
* Attend Client progress meetings.
Qualifications/Skills
* A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or other related discipline (can be substituted by a relevant HNC and suitable experience
* Good MS Excel skills
* Experience with Civil Engineering and Construction projects
* Experience of working within the Water Industry would be advantageousBefore You Apply
