Quantity Surveyor – Pub/Restaurant Fit-Out
Location: Guildford & surrounding areas
Experience: 5+ Years in a Similar Role
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a solid background in pub and restaurant fit-outs. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in valueing and costing projects valued between £2m - £5m and overseeing multiple sites. Flexibility to travel and work away from home is essential, depending on project locations.
Key Requirements:
✔ 5+ years of experience in a Quantity Surveyor role within the fit-out sector
✔ Accurate with valuations and costings for tenders and sub contract packages
✔ Extensive experience in pub/restaurant fit-outs
✔ Proven ability of costing projects between £2m - £5m
✔ Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
✔ Flexibility to travel and work away when required
Skills and Experience:
* Strong technical knowledge: of construction processes, materials, and cost implications.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with various stakeholders.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: and other relevant software.
* Experience in the fit-out market sector: is highly desirable.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team .
* Good organizational and time management skills .
* A relevant degree (like Quantity Surveying or Construction Management) and chartered status (MRICS) is highly advantageous. Experience in fit-out projects, particularly in the leisure or hospitality sector, is also beneficial.
