The Role
Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the commercial management of construction and refurbishment projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and commercially driven Quantity Surveyor to join a company with a collaborative culture and a strong project pipeline.
Key Responsibilities

Manage the full commercial lifecycle of assigned projects
*
Prepare cost plans, valuations, and interim applications
*
Track project budgets and produce accurate financial reports
*
Evaluate and manage subcontractor packages, including procurement, payments, and final accounts
*
Identify and mitigate commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle
*
Assist with contract negotiations and ensure compliance with contractual obligations
*
Provide commercial input and support to the project delivery team
*
Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal departments to maintain strong communication and transparency
Key Requirements
*
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction sector
*
Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and commercial procedures
*
Excellent numerical, analytical, and reporting skills
*
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
*
Strong negotiation and communication skills
*
Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management (HNC/Degree or equivalent)
*
A proactive and team-oriented approach
