Senior Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor

£65,000 - £70,000 + Package
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor (SQS) or experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our dynamic team in Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially astute professional with a strong background in leading multiple construction projects from inception to completion.
You'll play a key role in managing project costs, ensuring value for money, and driving financial efficiency across our growing portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and manage cost planning, procurement, and commercial reporting on multiple live projects.
* Lead contract administration and negotiation with subcontractors and suppliers.
* Conduct regular site visits and liaise with project managers, clients, and stakeholders.
* Monitor project budgets, forecast costs, and ensure timely financial reporting.
* Ensure all commercial practices align with company policies and contractual obligations.
* Support and mentor junior team members when necessary.
Requirements
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor.
* Proven track record managing multiple construction projects (residential, commercial or industrial).
* Strong knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts.
* Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field (RICS accreditation desirable).
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
* Based in or able to commute to Liverpool.
