Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor
Tier 1 Main Contractor – Major High-Profile Project
Location: Cardiff
Salary: Excellent salary + full package

We have an exceptional opportunity with one of the UK's leading Tier 1 contractors, delivering one of the most high-profile and complex schemes in the South Wales region.
The Role
Working as a key part of the commercial team and reporting to the overall Commercial Manager, you will play a vital role in the commercial delivery of a major, flagship project in Cardiff. You’ll be responsible for managing costs, contracts, procurement and subcontractor relationships to ensure the project is delivered on time and to budget.
Key Responsibilities:
·Supporting the commercial management of the project from start to finish
·Subcontractor procurement and management
·Cost control, forecasting, and reporting
·Contract administration (NEC or JCT experience preferred)
·Working closely with operational teams and senior stakeholders
·Contributing to value engineering and risk management
About You:
·Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor with a recognised Tier 1 or Tier 2 main contractor
·Track record of working on large-scale construction projects
·Excellent commercial awareness and understanding of contract law
·Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills
·Driven, detail-oriented and career-focused
