Job Description

The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has opened up for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to take full supervised responsibility for the commercial function on a project or section of a project.
Remuneration and benefitsAlongside an excellent salary package of 40-65k Per Anum, you will also be entitled to Accommodation allowance, flexible working arrangements, plus many more benefits on offer to you.
Your duties and responsibilities will be
Contribute to a result as agreed with local commercial management.
Protect the company’s position throughout 360 degree relationships.
To carry out commercial tasks and present results in an orderly and accurate format.
Develop commercial skills to proactively contribute to the commercial success of the business.
Prepare standalone sections of applications and reports.
Review incoming accounts and correspondence and react accordingly.
Manage specified subcontract accounts and support senior commercial staff in negotiations.
Agree a personal development plan and deliver the objectives.
Contribute to the development of subordinates.
Carry out duties for collaborative working in line with the client Procedure for Collaborative Working and the JRMP (Joint Relationship Management Plan)
Any other duties consistent with your status and seniority, as necessary to meet the needs of the Business of the Company.

A detailed understanding of the general and specific contract and subcontract terms.
A knowledge of the techniques and processes involved in delivering the works.
NEC 3 / 4 contract experience.It’s great if you also have the following
