What You’ll Be Doing
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in the commercial delivery of diverse projects, ranging from planned maintenance and refurbishment to large-scale new builds and retrofit works. You'll collaborate closely with project managers and clients to ensure cost-effective outcomes while upholding high standards of quality, safety, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and manage accurate cost estimates, budgets, and valuations
* Conduct tender analysis and contractor negotiations
* Monitor project progress and financial performance
* Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to maintain effective communication
* Ensure compliance with contractual and legal obligations
* Contribute to value engineering and risk management initiatives
* Support sustainable construction goals, including decarbonisation and PAS 2030 standards
What We’re Looking For:
* Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
* Proven experience in a Quantity Surveying role within construction or maintenance
* Strong understanding of JCT contracts and cost management systems
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
* Commitment to sustainability and social value delivery
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
* A full UK driving licence is desirable
