Job Responsibilities
Prepare and manage cost estimates and budgets for civil engineering projects
Procure materials and services in line with project specifications and constraints
Monitor project costs and progress, ensuring financial targets are met
Conduct tender analysis and evaluate contractor valuations
Negotiate changes and variations to contracts
Assist in valuation and certification of payments to contractors and suppliers
Maintain accurate records of project costs and contractual documentation
Collaborate with project teams to ensure project delivery within budget and timeframes
Required Qualifications
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the Civil Engineering industry
Strong knowledge of cost management and contractual procedures
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Ability to analyse and interpret contractual documents and drawings
Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools
