Quantity Surveyor - Leeds
A growing infrastructure contractor is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to enhance its commercial capability and support the delivery of complex utility and construction projects. This role is ideal for commercially driven QS professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and want to influence both project outcomes and business performance.
With live projects across the UK, the organisation offers exposure to a range of frameworks and infrastructure developments, with a focus on commercial control, quality, and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
* Full commercial management of assigned projects from pre-construction to final account
* Cost forecasting, budgeting, and reporting to internal and external stakeholders
* Contract administration, including variations, payment applications, and final accounts (NEC or similar)
* Subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and performance tracking
* Commercial risk management in line with company and industry best practices
* Contribution to commercial strategy and process improvement
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a Quantity Surveyor role within construction or utilities
* Proficient in NEC or similar standard forms of contract
* Strong commercial reporting and cost control skills
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
* Skilled in Excel and commercial documentation tools
