Job Title: Quantity Surveyor (Remote - Desk-Based)
Location: Home-based, UK
Sector: Renewable Energy / Infrastructure
Start Date: September 2025
Duration: 3-6 Months (Ad-Hoc Basis)
Overview:
We are seeking a RICS-chartered Quantity Surveyor to support the review and sign-off of decommissioning studies for solar PV projects. This is a remote, desk-based role suitable for professionals with a strong background in civil or electrical infrastructure, building services, or renewable energy.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and validate technical and financial aspects of solar PV decommissioning studies.
Provide expert sign-off and assurance on cost estimates and methodologies.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Offer guidance on infrastructure-related decommissioning scopes, even outside of solar-specific experience.
Requirements:
Must be RICS-chartered.
Experience in renewables decommissioning is desirable but not essential.
Strong background in civil/electrical infrastructure or building services.
Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
Ability to work independently and manage ad-hoc assignments remotely.
