About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Freelance Quantity Surveyor to join a leading new build housing company in their East Yorkshire region. Based around the Hessle area, you will support the commercial team in delivering high-quality residential projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all commercial aspects of allocated new build housing developments.
Prepare and manage budgets, valuations, and cost reports.
Oversee subcontractor procurement, payments, and final accounts.
Monitor project costs and ensure financial targets are achieved.
Work closely with site teams to provide commercial support.Requirements
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the new build housing sector.
Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
Good knowledge of construction contracts and cost control.
